Building meaningful software in the age of AI
I have been thinking about building software this weekend. I feel that AI tools (or something like it) are inevitable. The productivity gains are too high and the problems (security, private models, IP) will be worked out. So how is this going to change how software is built? My take: it will speed up iteration a lot. The bar for creating truly great software will remain high. What do you think? Will the advent of AI software make it easy for the average person to create great software? Or will they use it for a different purpose?
